1969 was a turning point in my young life. I was 4 years old and my father had gone to Vietnam to serve a tour in the USAF. During his downtime he built an AM radio for me into a cigar box and sent it home. I listened to that radio constantly. It not only awakened my musical mind, but my political and social one as well. This song is dedicated to that experience.
